Reflection
My unit 2 project is over the release of the iPhone 7 and how customers felt about its different aspects. There were many mixed reviews on every aspect of the the phone, new and old. I was able to analyze many reactions of the iPhone 7 through Twitter. Twitter made finding these reviews fairly easy, but parts of it were someone difficult. During this project I really expanded on Twitter as a digital literacy. I had never used the application to do research like I was doing. I was also learning how to filter through the junk tweets in order to find content that I could actual use.
Most of the comments that I received about my project were positive but there were two things that needed a little work. I was told that my project would be stronger if I were to add more example tweets regarding what people liked and disliked about the iPhone. Making this revision enhanced the literacy within Twitter that I had previously developed when weeding through the tweets regarding the new iPhone. Another critique that I received was that I should explain my methods more fully. Doing so caused me to reanalyze what methods I did use, and how Twitter is a good literacy to have. I went through and found another tweet or two for each catagory that seemed a little bit thinner and I also added a methods paragraph to my reflection within the project for revision.
